The Kite Runner Project

The project we did was making kite. We made this kite because we read the book kite runner, after reading all of kite runner we were trying to be like Amir and make the kite. For making the kite our group member was James, Ju hun, Kevin, Kyle.

The process to make this kite was hard. We first got the meterials that we need for the kite, and we saperate 5parts to make the kite, Theme, Character, Symbol, Turning point, Tail. When I we were disscussing for the kite to how to make it and how to design and also who’s going to write what, so it was hard. But while we were disscussing about things our relationship got better and it was fun to make it because we were designing all of this. We chose to make the kite as butterfly because I thought that to be a butterfly it takes long time and hard time but eventually the butterfly gets really beautiful, so I thought it was same as Amir because even when Amir was young he had hard time because of his father and Hassan. But eventually in the future Amir has successful life, that’s the main reason why we design this kite as an butterfly.

For the theme we chose to write about Amir and Hassan didn’t know that they were brothers and, also Hassan getting raped. For the character we chose to write about Amir because this book is mainly about Amir and even things about Hassan relates to Amir so we chose to do Amir. For the similar movie character we chose to do Iron man because Iron man is the same as Amir, because he was also trying to pay off of what he have done. The turning point we chose to write about Baba’s death because Amir’s life totally changes after Baba dies, because after Baba dies he has no support. Symbol was meaning Hassan getting raped and how he felt when he got betrade things like that.
